  • Delivering more elective surgeries across Queensland by partnering with the private sector through the Surgery Connect Program to reduce waitlists and ensure patients are seen sooner.

  • Delivering the legislated but previously unfunded midwife to patient ratios across the state.

  • Investing to stabilise bed capacity to improve patient flow across the state, with 515 beds across the Queensland Health system.

  • Delivering a new Central West Renal Unit at Longreach Hospital so that more regional and rural Queenslanders have easier access to health services.

  • Delivering more than 2,600 extra beds across the state including 3 new hospitals and 10 hospital expansions and more regional health services, as part of the Hospital Rescue Plan.

  • Delivering health services when you need them with more paramedics and initiatives to reduce ambulance ramping below 30 per cent by 2028.

  • Delivering more health workers for Western Queensland, with additional funding in 2025–26 to grow the workforce to 456 (FTE) across Central West Hospital and Health Service.

  • Securing the long-term future of the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme to deliver easier access to health services for regional and rural Queenslanders.

  • Extending the railway siding at the Western Queensland Livestock Exchange Saleyards in Longreach.

  • Delivering funding to raise 5 weirs along the Thomson River and implement a number of other upgrades to increase water storage and improve water efficiency across the network.

  • Funding the final stages of a planning and feasibility study for the Blackall Woolscour project, backing the agriculture industry and regional manufacturing.

  • Upgrading the outdoor play area at Boulia State School.

  • Delivering funding towards measures to control feral pig populations in Longreach.

  • Delivering better planning to unlock housing supply in the area.

  • Delivering funding to Barcoo Shire Council to support planning scheme improvements to boost local housing supply.

  • Constructing a shed and awning at the Betoota Sports Arena to support patrons and protect sporting equipment during key events. Part of the permanent Works for Queensland Program.

  • Delivering $250 million for a community Olympic and Paralympic legacy fund to boost participation in grassroots sport across the state in the lead up to the Games.
