  • Delivering more health workers for North Queensland, with additional funding in 2025-26 to grow the workforce to 6,378 (FTE) in the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

  • Delivering the Palm Island Home Ownership Scheme, working with Palm Island Council to create new housing pathways and give residents the opportunity to own their own home where they previously haven't been able to.

  • Installing shade cover over playground equipment at Taylors Beach beachfront to improve sun safety and support all-day recreational use, as part of the permanent Works for Queensland Program.

  • Supporting Charters Towers Regional Council to replace ageing CCTV cameras at nine sites to improve coverage, functionality, and surveillance response, as part of the permanent Works for Queensland Program.

  • Replacing heavy doors at Greenvale Community Hall with lighter, ergonomic options to improve accessibility and safety, as part of the permanent Works for Queensland Program.

  • Assessing long-term infrastructure and non-infrastructure solutions to meet the water resource needs of the Burdekin region, as part of the National Water Grid Fund in partnership with the Australian Government.

  • Planning and designing the Borello Park redevelopment, including playground replacement and reprofiling to protect against sea level rise inundation, as part of the permanent Works for Queensland Program.

  • Installing a new public toilet at Aplins Weir Park, Townsville, including power, water, and wastewater connections to the site.

  • Delivering a place to call home for more Queenslanders, with more social homes in construction and contracted in North Queensland.
