Delivering local anti-hooning measures

The Queensland Government is delivering for the state by providing police resources to help keep our communities safe from hooning.

Budget 2025–26 includes $2 million for a network of anti-hooning cameras to be delivered across Rochedale South, Springwood, Daisy Hill, Shailer Park, Mount Cotton, Sheldon and Priestdale​.

The Queensland Police Service remains committed to making Queensland’s roads safer for all road users. By continuing to target hooning behaviour, police are working to protect the community and reduce the risks associated with dangerous driving.
